Did you get a new puppy? 

Katherine will be adding a puppy to the pack of Bonnie and Bailey this summer.

What did you do on your summer vacation?

Katherine (Odile) and two of her children, Emily (Chloe) and Nicholas (Niko), attended Swiss Camp in Bemidji, MN. The camp, sponsored by Concordia Language Villages, focuses on a language immersion program in which campers become “citizens” of another country. This includes picking out new authentic names, trading in our dollars for Swiss francs, and eliminating all “English” contraband.  During the week at camp, The Swiss Family Johnson studied Italian, German, and French, learned about the Swiss culture and even participated in several  Swiss themed activities. The week long session also included authentic Swiss goodies like chocolate fondues, wood-fired pizza, and bratwurst.  It was MAGNIFIQUE!
